Janet (my mother's name!), I was scouring the internet using various search phrases to find this exact recipe from my childhood, My mom, Janet, keeps a folded up oily from butter recipe, the exact one you have shared. I thought this was lost forever...
Anyway, off to bake some cookies that smell like childhood and taste like my mother's kitchen. :)
