Today is my Anniversary, and this Peppermint Chocolate Cake is divine! How fun that the Retro Baker's Chocolate Ad is is all about Janet! Well, yes, it's all about me!

Wouldn't it be wonderful to sit down with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy this cake together? My parents were married in 1936 and I have a photograph of them in swimming suits like these. I don't have any photos of mom baking a cake, though. Maybe that is why I started baking at an early age!
