Icicle Cake: Retro Ad & Recipe
Brr.. it's cold outside. Time to make an Icicle Cake. This Retro Advertisement and Recipe is for Dexo, an all purpose hydrogenized vegetable shortening similar to Crisco. "So Blendable. So Dependable."
Wow, thanks for sharing. I have never heard of dexo, but I do love the photo. The recipe is easy . Nothing like this style of cake!
And I know that this style of cake was a childhood favorite of mine. This is where the milk mustache would have come after biting into a satisfying piece of chocolate cake.
