Nutella has a different consistency. Especially with cakes in the microwave, you shouldn't vary ingredients. Sory you had a volcano. I also used a big cereal bowl with straight up sides. When it was finished in the micro, I ran a spatula around the sides and turned it out onto a plate. Then, I got creative and pierced it with a fork every 1/2" and poured 3 tablespoons of Kahlua over it. Cut into wedges and top each serving with whipped cream.
