The Melrose was a tiny motel on HWY 42 down the road from my folks' home. Sadly it closed about 10 years ago.<br /><br /> The trademark is held by Ehrler's Dairy. They grabbed the name when the Melrose was still in business. Tacky and ticked off most of Louisville.
